HyuN goes for 9th straight win in IPL Fight Club v ByuN

Eight wins up against world’s top tier professionals is Hyun’s current score in IPL Fight Club. Thus far he eliminated Squirtle, MajOr, CranK, Tear, Grubby, aLive, TitaN, GuMiho and now it’s time for his ninth victim – ByuN.

Their nicknames are similar, but that's not all they have in common. Both players are playing in Round of 32 in GSL Season 4 and it looks like both of them will finish with a Code S spot in Season 5.

The current King of the Hill, HyuN, is not only the number one contestant in IPL Fight Club, but also holds an impressive record of 40 games won and huge winning rates against Terrans and Protoss; former 79% (15-4) and latter 78% (25-8). The match against ByuN is going to be Hyun’s fourth match against Terran.

Ko Seok Hyun is also very active In online cups such as Antec Attack and Zotac winning at least one or two of them every month for over seven months straight. However, his Fight Club opponent qualified for the IGN ProLeague Season 5 through Asian Satellite Qualifiers after defeating Heart in the finals 2-1.

Both players have also played in the IPTL Season 1 in match between Prime and Team SCV Life in Premier Division Group B, which was won by Prime 5-4 after an impressive finish by ByuN who took out Polt and Shine to secure the victory.

In the same match HyuN didn’t really show off his skills and lost to Creator after taking down Maru in the fifth game of the series.  Next chance for HyuN to step up his game is October 10th and 17th when TSL play against StarTale and Incredible Miracle. TSL against StarTale is going to be one of the most entertaining match in this group, because it is going to determine whether it is StarTale or Team SCV Life that advance to the playoffs as currently TSL is third with 0-1 record and StarTale is second with 1-1 score.

After taking down GuMiho in last week’s match, HyuN is definitely a favorite to win his ninth game in a row. At the same time, ByuN has a lot to prove to his fans and the scene as well.
